This week good, next is better

Happy that most of my Oakley order came through (didn't get the Toolbox backpack)  the latest items in were the lanyards.  Starting to get excited for P's wedding.  I get my tux on Wednesday, rehersal and dinner on Thursday, and the wedding on Saturday.  Saturday is going to be busy!  For me it'll start at about 8am and end who knows what time.

Babe's got Friday-Monday off...we've got lots of stuff planned.  Fri and Mon nights we're doing stuff with her family.

One day...i would like to be able to do this:

*Weak*end

Started to get the gf's sickness on Friday.  Not good considering I had P's stag (all day event) the next day.  Also errands on Sunday.  Highlights ->

Saturday: Laundry, lunch @ Gloucester with babe, go-karts, dinner, strippers.

Sunday: Laundry, passed by work, bought game for JR, Pho, fitnessworld.

I'm certain that my illness should pass by midweek.

Tired

All this week i've been coming into work early (anywhere from 7am-8am).  It's cause bbgirl's store is changing over.  What's frustrating is all attempts to leave early have been thwarted, hopefully not today.  Started the day off with a quad grande 3/4 Americano, I've made some tea, and have got a xlrg dbl-dbl on my desk.  drowsy i am!!!

I've got 2 loads of laundry waiting for me at home, have to put some gym time in today (was too tired to go last night)....and have got to wake up early tomorrow.  Time has forsaken me.

Have got a big day tomorrow since its P's stag.  Paintball, karts, dinner and strippers (in that order) await.  I'll be liq free since i'm the DD.

...tired...

Oakley goodies in soon

I'm expecting my Oakley gear to arrive within the next week to week and a half.  Ohhh I'm so excited.  From left to right (see above) Toolbox backpack, x-metal Juliet's with Ruby Iridium lens, Juliet Vault, and 2 Oakley Lanyards (cement and skull).

My gf gets a deal on it cause she's sooo special...heheh.  The order got put in about a month back.  Was worried cause they kept pushing back the ship date on the Juliet's.  I discovered about a week ago that the Ruby's were discontinued...was a little alarmed but found out (to my relief) that I may be getting the very last ones.  Was going to go with the Fire Iridiums with Plasma frame as alternate.  Toolbox - I've been looking for a backpack for the last year (for those of you that know me...i'm a whore when it comes to bags - backpacks, laptop bags, luggage).  My original choice was the 'Kitchen Sink' but *that* got discontinued before the order was placed.  Juliet Vault - when the Ruby's arent on my head/face they shall rest in the vault (these are +$600 sunglasses, yo).  Lanyards - My gf gave me her Nike/Bauer lanyard and I've been using it for a keychain for a bit....now i'll have the Oakley ones to rotate.

I love Oakley...

  1. ...because they make excellent sunglasses
  2. ...tres stylish
  3. ...status
  4. ...and i'm a consumer whore

Seriously, lots of technology behind dem sunglasses.  I wear my polarized XLJ's for all outdoor activites (physically demanding).  Optics are superb, lenses are shatter resistant, and they never fall off (Unobtainium temple socks and nose bomb).  You can see my fleetfeet photo (SunRun 06).  Oakley = *so* baller.  Nuff said.

I guess I should also mention that I collect sunglasses.  I mean i don't keep them on a shelf to oogle...no...i have many sunglasses cuase each one has a specific use.

Polarized RayBan - I use for driving and are my general/daily use specs

Half Jacket XLJ - Outdoor physical activites; Running, watersports, team stuff.

Versace - Seldom used, for formal wear only

A Wire - in retirement, keep in my sock drawer.

My first pair were the T-wire...they were stolen from my car, circa 1995.  Then i got the StraightJackets...stolen as well, home robbery.  Yes, the love affair with Oakley has gone (and will go) on for years.

I <3 Oakley  (oh yeah...you too bbgirl...erm i mean first....heehehe)

Back on the treadmill

Went for a run after work (yesterday). Been a long time since I've included any cardio into my routine. Was running every other day pre-Sun Run, but for the last couple of months (almost entire summer) just did weights. Thought I'd be huffing and puffing but it wasn't the case. Was able to do 20 mins @5 mph and another 25 mins (did 20 mins on the elliptical in between), making roughly an hour of cardio activity. Was feeling good after the session but can remember when I can do 90 mins @ 6.0 so....bittersweet.

Prior to the cardio realized the flexibility in the lower bod not like it was in the past. Back when cardio was part of the norm I was able to do my lower stretches with ease...last night I'd say I was at 75% (duration and form). Will probably take me a month to get back in the swing.

Was running in my Shox (Kinsei's were at home, wore the Nike's for work). Man do they stink. My feet don't smell, but I do remember lending my Shox to G during his visit here. Yeah, that's not likely to happen again. :) Going to was the insoles and Febreeze the heck outta dem shoes this evening.

First post (about time...)

Welcome one and all to the greatest attraction on the INTERWEB.  hmm....um, hold on that...I *was* suppose to get this all up an runnin last Friday (see the test post ober dare?)  Yeah.  I downloaded and configured Live Writer on Friday (afternoon) and dinked around with layout over the weekend.

pls note: im lousy with the grammar, spelling, punctuation and the english...I also abbreviate OUT OF MY ASS...you have been warned!!!!1!1 (lousy=lazy, not ESL lousy....fucker).

After some time in PS, smacking, flippin and rubbin down this template...VIOLA!  Hope you likes.

Blog Title:

Something tells me i'm going to get the most comments on this one.  "CMYK in an RGB world"  What does that mean?  Honestly...can't even begin to tell you.  Email me...perhaps i'll have an answer by then.  CMYK is an abbreviation for cyan, magenta, yellow and black...print people know this term.  RGB stands for Red Green Blue; colors that computers, monitors, dig cams and tvs use...primary colors of light.  I use the latter.  Now what does that mean.  Guess i'm saying I'm unique, dissimilar from the world at large.  I'm the dead pixel that you discover or on your *new* 30in. LCD.  I'm...ok i'll stop.

Content:

Haven't really determined a format for posts and such.  Thinking it'll be done freestyle.  One thing I'll try to do is (somehow) seperate topics within a single post.  I've looked at some other blogs that 'tag' content, but am too lazy to look at their code or ask the author.  I'll just post whenever i have the time/desire...also making sure if its post worthy.   "...so today, i was like walking on the street...and cars were passing by then i almost got run over...."  NO  NONE OF THAT SHIT.  Also, i'll try to keep it clean (profanity).

I just paused for a sec, and realized how sparse the right column is.  Gonna post more links, and some tools.  Tools for me and for you.  If you guys want anything else just leave a comment.

Friendster:

I don't think i'll 'simul' post there cause of the bandwidth limit.  Live Writer does have the facilities to accomplish this but i don' t think its worth it.  I'm pretty much going to have to redo and apply the same shiznit there.   I think I'll just drop a link to this guy and we'll see what happens.

I thought the first post would be lame/anemic but to my surprise, no.
